NASCAR at Richmond: Odds, key stats, bets to consider for second playoff race

Brad Keselowski made his third consecutive win Sunday in the opening playoff race in Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but a fourth consecutive win seems unlikely as NASCAR heads to Richmond’s brief track for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400.

Richmond is a flat, 3/4-mile track that’s quite like New Hampshire’s and Phoenix’s flat tracks. Drivers who have had success have been contenders at Richmond.

Phoenix and New Hampshire was seen by NASCAR after each earlier. In the desert, Kevin Harvick took the checkers, but Kyle Busch led the most laps. Harvick also won New Hampshire, but it was Kurt Busch leading the most laps.

Keselowski completed 15th and 32nd in Phoenix and New Hampshire this season, but he’s finished 11th or better in the last six races at Richmond. A top-10 seems likely for the No. 2 team, but there are drivers more healthy for the short-track racing on Saturday.
